Text Box: Did you know? The MTFD is made up of 100% volunteers! The MTFD responds to an average of 100 emergency calls each year! The MTFD offers CPR training to the public! The MTFD will be the first on scene if you have an emergency in our response district! The MTFD offers a Jr. Firefighter program for young men and women over the age of 14! The MTFD depends on support from the community to stay successful!

The Monroe Township Fire Department was established in 1961.  It proudly serves the communities of Toddville, Midway and surrounding areas.  The MTFD provides first response to fires, medical calls, car accidents and other calls to service.  All MTFD volunteers are trained in firefighting and of the 25 plus member department over half are medically trained as an EMT-B or Paramedic.
